International Day of Rural Women (October 15th 2014)

October 15th, International Day of Rural Women is a day designated by the United Nations General Assembly to recognize the importance of rural indigenous and native women. Rural women play a major role in the economic, environmental and social viability to sustain their culture.

In commemoration of this day we honor six brave women. VIEW SLIDESHOW
