Happy Memorial Day! Did you know there were women soldiers in the Civil War?

Did you know there were female soldiers fighting in the American Civil War? Amongst them was Frances Clayton who disguised herself as a man to fight for union forces. Interestingly, there were many women fighting on the front lines of the Civil War.Yet because they took on new identities, it's too difficult to tell just how many. Historians estimate somewhere between 400 to 750.
